Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI)

Although the legal framework offers the possibility to settle disputes using alternative methods and although the Chamber of Commerce and Industry uses its tools to inform business operators about arbitrage and mediation, still, when asked why they do not use such services, 70% (the average rate in the country) of the businesspeople questioned by the CCI answered that they were not informed enough about such methods.

Description of needs - type and specifics of action (financial, technical, expertise etc.):

It is necessary to organize a broad information campaign that exceeds the financial possibilities of the CCI, especially that not only the CCI would have to gain as a result of such a campaign but also other structures that have arbitration courts and the entire judiciary would implicitly contribute to a better economic development of the country.

Estimation of the cost uncovered by the state budget (foreseen/forecasted):

a) Creation of a promotional video ad – € 1,500;

b) TV broadcasting of the ad – € 10,000;

c) Online media stories (Unimedia, Agora, Infomarket, Newsmaker, Noi) - € 2,500;

d) Creation of a page on Facebook, its maintenance and publicity – € 1,000;

e) Stories in the print media (Timpul, Jurnal de Chișinău,Komsomolskaya pravda, Business Class, Logos - Press, Bănci şi Finanțe) - € 4,000;

f) Flyers, brochures – € 3,000;
